This is a Giro Slingshot Youth Ski Snowboard Helmet. The size is Extra Small/Small - 49-54 cm. The colors are red or blue. The helmets were briefly used in a mountain resort rental program. The majority of these helmets were never used by resort guests. However, they were marked with permanent silver ink on the bottom back of the helmet. Additionally, the helmets will have some sticker residue from the previously removed resort stickers. The helmets have a goggle retention strap on the back, padded quick release chin strap and a size adjuster on the inside at the back of the helmet. The mountain resort advised us that the helmets are running smaller than advertised by Giro. If your child's measurements are running close to 54cms, you should not purchase this helmet.
The photos are representative photos of the helmet that you will receive. All the Helmets are in a similar condition. Your helmet might have slight scratches and scuffs from being stored at the mountain resort, transportation to our warehouse and warehouse storage.
Sizing
Helmet sizing is not an exact science as each person's head is shaped differently. The following sizing guidelines work for 95% of our customers. Your size is determined by measuring the circumference of your head. Get a Measuring Tape - To determine the correct size, wrap the tape around your head, just above the eyebrows. Note your size at point of overlap. This is your helmet size.
