This mitten is constructed with Thinsulate Insulation from 3M that provides warmth without bulk. Thinsulate traps and holds your body hear and will not absorb moisture. 40 gram Thinsulate is recommended for high activity levels where the wearer builds a lot of body heat through activities such as skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling or other cold weather activities. Additionally, the mittens feature Drypel Waterproof Inserts. Drypel is a high-tech waterproof membrane sandwiched between the shell material and the lining. The membrane prevents water from penetrating the mitten while allowing moisture in the form of vapor to escape from the hand cavity. This keeps the hand dry and comfortable while maintaining flexibility.
