This is a New Rossignol Raid boot. We recently moved warehouses and found some older model boots hidden in the cornor. We do not know model year of this boot. This apears to be a mid entry boot with three buckles. Two on Front and one on the back of the boot. Additionally, the bottom sole looks like the bottom of a normal boot. We do not have any additional information about this boot. It is sold as is and will NOT fit in a traditional ski binding.
A vintage seller recently provided us with additional information on these boots. So, we are providing the following information as an update to the very limited description above. These boots are not compatible with todays downhill ski bindings or DIN bindings. The Rossingal Raid was an entry level hard snowboard boot for plate bindings and alpine carving. It is from the late 80s or 90s based on the color scheme.
Retail price was $295.00
The photo is a representative photo. We have multiple sizes and all the boots are new, never worn outside on the slopes. They may have slight scuff marks from being moved around in our wareshouse or used as retail samples. The boots are new but they will not ship in their orignal retail boxes or have new product brochures. They will ship out in our own shipping box.
Manufacturers boots fit a little differently. I suggest trying on a similar brand or model at a local shop to get the best idea of fit and size. The mondo point comparison to street shoe size is close but not exact. Remember to use a ski sock made of wool or a wicking fabric. Do not use cotton socks.
