This is a Used Giro Slingshot Youth Ski Snowboard Helmet. The sizes are Extra Small (XS) - 49-54cm and Medium/Large (M/L) - 52-55cm. The colors are Red Striped and All Red. The helmets were used in a ski shop rental and lease program for one season. The helmets have a goggle retention strap on the back, quick release chin strap and a size adjuster on the inside at the back of the helmet. The helmets will have a lot of scuff, scratches and nicks from being worn and tossed back into rental bins and transportation to our warehouse.
Additionally, the soft ear covers on most helmets easily slip out of the shell channel. The ear covers can be slipped back in but will slip back out. We have discounted this helmet because of the ear cover slippage. Please see our photos so that you know what you are purchasing. You are purchasing this helmet as is.
The ski shop rental program advised us that the helmets are running smaller than advertised by Giro. If your child's measurements are running close to 54cm, you should not purchase the XS, but purchase the M/L.

Helmet sizing is not an exact science as each person's head is shaped differently. The following sizing guidelines work for 95% of our customers. Your size is determined by measuring the circumference of your head. Get a Measuring Tape - To determine the correct size, wrap the tape around your head, just above the eyebrows. Note your size at point of overlap. This is your helmet size.
